I feel that there is a state of peace within us that is our natural way of being. Life can find us out of alignment with this place, but it is always there. In this place we experience interconnectedness with our entire being, with others and with life. A joy at just existing radiates in every cell and a sense of flow is felt. When tensions are held within our system, a disruption to this flow, this joy state, occurs. Bodywork is a wonderful way to access these tensions, feeling the root of their presence, witnessing them, and allowing them to be released, returning us to our core state of peace.
The human form and condition, what it is to be human, have always fascinated me. Especially the bodymind, as really there is no separation between body and mind. Through my own journey of spiritual growth and injury recoveries I have come to the healing art of massage therapy. My soul’s path has led me here to be of service to you on your healing journey.
I attended the massage therapy program at Whatcom Community College gaining a foundation in Swedish Massage. From that base, I employ my growing knowledge of and passion for fascia by utilizing techniques to tap into this marvelous system in our body. I have certifications in Tensegrity Medicine Level 1, John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Level 1 and Intraoral work.
